The Victoria Busker Festival is back and it looks like a great collection of family entertainers. The DVBA is running it this year and has changed some of the locations please click here for more information. The inner harbour will host the usual great talent on the causeway and Ship Point Market will host a new batch of entertainers at the end of ship point pier. The Market will set up on Friday morning and be open until 10:30
Saturday 10:30 to 10:30 and Sunday 10:30 to 5pm.
The schedule is looking amazing for the ship point location on Canada Day week. It should be a busy 10 days as the Ship Point Market will be in operation for the longest period in it's history.
The Swiftsure market starts this weekend Located at the beautiful Ship Point pier (Victoria's inner harbour), the most scenic and highly photographed place in Victoria. Vendors range from artists, jewelers, and crafters, to musicians and food lovers and much more in between.
Enjoy the Swiftsure International Yacht Race, find the perfect Victoria-original gift for your friend or loved one, or relax with a beer and musical entertainment. Local talent Knackers Yard will be performing on the pier.
Enjoy delicious food truck options, Island Mini donuts, Greek food, and more.

Canada is throwing a big party this year. Check out the Spirit 150 Victoria website. Music and cultural celebration with fill this city as never before.
This is a great time to be selling your creations at Christmas craft shows. The Island is full of them. You May have met Joseph this year handing out pamphlets to invite you to the harbour to sell your work. Next year we will have 3 open locations for full time artist on the causeway. We also have room at the ever popular Night Market.
The summer has great long weekends. These long weekends can be a great time to set up in the inner harbour. The harbour day events allow artist to leave their tents up overnight enjoying some of the busiest days and evenings in the harbour. The Applications or 2017 will be ready by Feb. 20 2017. In the Winter the Harbour is beautiful but it looks a little empty.
But after November 26th the Harbour will be full of lights . Thank goodness for the holiday season.
On November 26 at dusk, we celebrate the annual Marina Light Up, with festive lights and decor throughout the Inner Harbour, Wharf Street, and Fisherman's Wharf Marinas. Lights will be lit through the end of December! Click here for the facebook event page information.
What a Fantastic year in the Harbour. Sad to say, that this weekend will be the end of the Night markets and weekend markets at ship point. This is the last opportunity to purchase some Christmas gifts from the vendors. If you had your eye on something all summer, this is your last chance.
This is the 12th year for the Ship Point Market. It grew this year and accommodated more artist than ever before. A special thank you to all the locals and tourist that made it such a great year.
If you have an appreciation for art. Ship Point is the place to be. Chalk artist from around the globe have descended on to Ship Point this weekend. Joined by 25 artistic vendors at the Ship Point Market. The chalk drawings will start Saturday morning and be completed on Sunday. There is a kids Zone just so they can go crazy and have some fun. 1st nations artist and music will be on stage during the day. Saturday Night Knackers yard will belt out some fine east coast music.
This will be the last weekend for some of the artist at the Ship Point Market. Sarah Mulligain is one of those artist. A long time supporter of the market she has become famous for her hand blown creations. Her Jewelry is original in thought and creation. Her work makes for a fine gift for someone or yourself. If you are down this weekend to admire the fine chalk art take a stroll to her booth at the Ship Point Market.
