What is the Victoria Harbour Festival?

The Victoria Harbour Festival is an eclectic collection of talented vendors located in the beautiful downtown area of Victoria BC. The festival takes place from May 27th to September 17th, which is the busiest and most exciting time of the year in Victoria. There will be artists of all kinds, as well as entertainers, musicians, and food trucks, all licensed by the Greater Victoria Harbour Authourity. Come down and enjoy some fine yummy food and be entertained by one of the 28 musicians. Get excited by watching one of the electric street performers. Explore the fine local artwork, including first nations original works. Enjoy being the focus of attention of one of our creative portrait artists.

The Ship Point Market keeps the harbour alive in the evenings every Friday evening til 10:00pm and Saturday through to 10:00pm. Weekends throughout the season will be exciting. Some events going on at the harbour: Swift Sure International Yacht Race, Canada Day, and leading into Symphony Splash, Ska Festival, Blues Bash, the Dragon Boat Festival, and the Nomad Holiday Market. Our newest water fron event is Fashion Splash @ Oden Point  To stay up to date follow our blog.

Evening strolls along Victoria's harbour are greatly enhanced by the discovery of the Ship Point Market on Friday and Saturdays On any given day during the season the harbour is a place of fun and excitement. When the weather gets warm the causeway fills right up with artists, buskers, and food carts. These hardy individuals stay until the weather turns cold in late fall. What makes the Harbour one of the most beautiful places in the world is the people. As a vendor, it is the ideal place to be seen. The backdrop includes the Sooke Hills, Parliament buildings and the famous Empress Hotel. This is the most photographed area in Victoria.
